We had the most wonderful week at Forest Cottage. It was above all our expectations. Beautiful cottage with everything you could need for a holiday. Our family loved staying here and hopefully we will be able to get back very soon. What a special place!

Sadly we had 2 nights and 2 mornings without heating or hot water. James offered electric heaters because the weather was cold, but we used the stove in the living room which is really efficient. Not being able to wash/shower wasn't ideal though. The problem seemed to be solved by a plumber on the second day while we were out.

Our stay at Cairn Valley was absolutely wonderful. The cottage was so comfortable and unbelievably well equipped and beautifully decorated and furnished. We loved: lying in the mezzanine bath and enjoying the view; having sundowners in the summerhouse; the old postcards on the walls; the seclusion of the garden; and the fact that it welcomed dogs. We both agreed that it was the staycation we have ever had. We will definitely book again. Other highlights included swimming in Loch an Eilean, the produce from the Farm Shop and the Horsebox Sauna - definitely worth trying.

Stayed for a week in March at Lower Milton Cottage.
One of the nicest, most comfortably appointed, well equipped holiday cottages we’ve ever stayed in. And then there’s the location, in a forest.
The sauna hut was just made it an even more indulgent week away.
It felt like a privilege to stay there, and - cliched though it may sound - a week didn’t feel long enough. We will be back.

A place so beautiful so peaceful that we have to tear ourselves away! Thank you for this lovely house, so well equipped and in the perfect location.

This is a magical place. The cottage is perfect in every way. Every detail has been thought through for maximum comfort, atmosphere and efficiency. It was a truly charming place to spend my 60th birthday. We had fantastic weather and the surroundings are utterly idyllic.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The flat is great and met all our needs. The dogs enjoyed all the fantastic walks.

Farm shop and Old Bridge Inn a must for all!

We couldn't have picked a better cottage if we tried. For the first time in a long time we've been able to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and relax.

The cottage is immaculate and stocked with everything we needed and more. The bath and sauna had plenty of use after long days walking.

The local bird life is fantastic and we've been lucky enough to spot osprey, dippers, crossbills and much more. Thanks for having us. Fingers crossed we'll be back soon.
