Where are the cottages and are they close to a train station?

All of our cottages are located on Rothiemurchus Estate, in the heart of Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. We are located about 10 minutes from Aviemore, which has a lovely train station. Taxis are readily available for pick up in the high season, we can help call ahead for one in the low season.

Are there any shops nearby?

All of our cottages have remote locations on Rothiemurchus Estate, offering peace and quiet, but they are also within walking distance or a short drive to our Farm Shop and Barn where you’ll find all your essentials (and more!) and enjoy a gorgeous breakfast or lunch.

Do your cottages have free wifi?

Yes, all wifi information is provided in the digital and physical guide book. Some of the cottages have satellite wifi, which might not be as fast as in the cities, but should be fine for general use.

Do you have EV charging stations?

Unfortunately not yet, but there are charging stations in Aviemore, about a 10 minute drive from all of our cottages.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, absolutely! We do charge a £25 per pet fee for the extra cleaning. All properties except Loch an Eilein Cottage have completely enclosed gardens.

What are check in/out times?

Our standard check in time is 4pm and check out time is 9:30am. However, on occasion these can be slightly earlier and or slightly later. Please get in touch if this is something you’d like and we’ll do our best.

Are there any activities to do?
