Your adventure begins with a visit to Dell Farm, where you will encounter the majestic Highland cattle, an iconic symbol of the Scottish Highlands. Learn about their role in the local ecosystem and the important conservation efforts taking place.
A fascinating exploration into the history, people and work of Rothiemurchus. Driven and guided by a friendly Rothiemurchus Ranger you will visit Highland cattle at the Dell Farm, marvel at the splendour of the ancient Caledonian Pine Forest, be captivated by the tranquility of Loch an Eilein, and blown away by the mountain views at Tullochgrue. You will see the grand buildings of The Doune house, and also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the red deer hinds at the Deer Farm – who you can feed by hand. You will be given a pair of binoculars and a warm Rothiemurchus Tartan blanket to use during the tour and you’ll also be treated to tea/coffee & biscuits.
