Little Landys new for Summer 2021 on Rothiemurchus near Aviemore

Let your little Land Rover drivers get behind the wheel at the newest activity on Rothiemurchus!

A new adventure awaits
The team behind Rothiemurchus's ever-popular Quad Bike Treks have just launched a fantastic new adventure for our younger visitors. Kids from 6 to 11 years old can now take to a specially designed off-road course in one of a fleet of electric mini Land Rovers!

In the classic British racing green with the same Rothiemurchus branding as the full size versions, these are a perfect scaled-down replica of the iconic Land Rovers that you'll see driven all over the estate by our friendly rangers.

Plan ahead
Your children can safely navigate their way around the purpose-built 4x4 track which features various obstacles for them to master like bridges and see-saws. Each child should be supervised by an accompanying adult, but they're sure to find their feet in no time at all. As you might expect, this experience has proved extremely popular since its opening in May 2021 so be sure to book ahead - particularly at weekends and in the summer holidays. To book your Little Landy experience, book online at Rothiemurchus. (But don't blame us if your children ask to go back each day of your stay!)

Quad Bike Treks for bigger kids
Bigger kids (12 years and above) can always join in with the Quad Bike Treks which run all year round whatever the weather and take you to all corners of Rothiemurchus. You'll follow a network of tracks and off-road trails through the magnificent ancient pine woodland and across the heather moorland of the estate with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain landscape. The quad bikes are the perfect way to get up close to our resident Highland Coos, Red deer herd and see parts of the estate that most visitors don't get to see. And don't forget to bring a camera!
