Cairngorms National Park

The Cairngorms National Park (1,748 square miles) is the largest national park in the UK and one of the country's most special and cared for landscapes. It is home to ancient pine forests, arctic mountain-tops, lochs, rivers and heathery moorland, as well as iconic wildlife, and a quarter of the UK's threatened species. The area was voted one of the top 20 places to visit in the world by National Geographic Traveller Magazine. It contains Britain’s highest and biggest mountain range, four of Scotland's five highest mountains and three of the country's five ski areas. It is a magnet for adventurers, thrill seekers, wildlife lovers, artists, those in search of peace, solitude and tranquility...and as only 18,000 of us are lucky enough to live and work here, there is enough space for everyone.

There are simply too many activities to list here within the Cairngorms National Park - for more information about all the available places to visit and things to do, please see Visit Cairngorms.
